This indoor plants grow light has the popular design of 8 lighting bars focused on distributing more light as even as possible across the plant canopy. Plus, this LED grow light offers V1 fully programmable spectrum to adapt to each phase of the plant cycle. High efficacy of 2.7 µmol/j and up to 720 wattage power consumption contribute to high efficiency growing operation.
The PPFD for this light is also quite impressive, 1208 µmol/s at 12” distance and 930 µmol/s at 24”. That's enough to boost your plants' yield according to a 20-40 mole of light per day requirement. Besides that, it is dimmable from 100% to 40% so you may easily adjust the intensity of the light for the veg and flowering phases.

The GLC-1 is a great companion to my Fold-8. The combined price is well within a great budget. Speaking of the Fold-8, its a very powerful lite, the combination really rounds out my 4x4 which happens to be in Flower as we speak. The app makes it even easier to use, there is only one page of adjustments, just be sure to set the controler to the correct time so your lites turn on/off correctly, its a 24hr clock so 6am is 6, and 6pm is 1800.

The slim light bars are amazing. They so bright I have to wear sunglasses now when going in to my tent. An they don't put off that much heat, way less then my olds ones. Which is a positive because I was having trouble controlling the temperature. Best light bar I have seen by far!!

This is a well designed light controller that has had some great ideas implemented via the system software. The system has a safety feature that can be set to dim the lights, or turn the lights off via external relays, if the temp/rH sensors detect conditions that exceed user defined parameters. The user can also set sun up/sundown dimming via the control panel.
The lighting control output can be either PWM or 0-10v and is user selectable. This feature allows the controller to work with many other LED power supplies, such as Meanwell drivers, using a 4-pin telephone style plug in the RJ11 output jacks with 2&5 pins for positive and 3&4 pins for negative. This is easily facilitated using an RJ11 6 to 4 pin output adaptor as pictured.
The downside is the documentation. It is severely lacking, however MedicGrow provides 24/7 tech support.
